Does DeckBeacon require an account?

No. Browse, filter, favorite, and copy Clash Royale decks on DeckBeacon without signing in. Favorites stay in this browser.

No. You can use every part of the DeckBeacon website without signing in: browse the ranked snapshot, filter it, save favorites, and copy a deck. There is no "create account to copy" wall and no Discord login for the numbers.

Favorites live in this browser. They are not synced to a DeckBeacon account, because the website does not have one. Clearing site data clears them. The native client can optionally sign in (Apple/Google) later to sync favorites across devices; that is a mobile concern, it collects an email plus an account identifier, and it still never asks for a Clash Royale player tag. Privacy.

Why we will not add a login to "unlock" decks

The conversion event is copy-deck. Putting it behind an account would be the same product mistake as putting it behind an ad. The official handoff does not need to know who you are. The catalog is a published snapshot, not a per-user feed.

An account would also tempt a feature we refuse: resolving you in Clash Royale. The official API has no global player search by name. Anyone who offers "just tell us your name" is guessing from a clan roster. Does DeckBeacon search players?

What you still need

You need the Clash Royale app to import a copied list. On a phone that has the game, Copy Deck opens it. On a desktop, scan the QR code. How to copy on desktop.

You need to own the cards (and the Tower Troop, and any Evolution you want to play). DeckBeacon cannot grant cosmetics. Filters exist so you can exclude what you do not have. Decks for beginners.
