Is DeckBeacon free?
Yes. DeckBeacon is free to browse and copy ranked Clash Royale decks — no account, no IAP, and no fee on the official copy link.
Yes. DeckBeacon is a free Clash Royale deck browser. You can open /decks, filter the ranked snapshot, and copy a list into the game without creating an account or paying anyone.
Supercell's Fan Content Policy is why this is not a "free tier." Fan tools may not charge a fee without written approval. Ads, donations, and coaching are the carved-out exceptions — not a subscription that unlocks copy-deck. DeckBeacon therefore does not sell a "remove ads" pack, a premium catalog, or a paid copy button. The product you see is the product.
What you can do for free
- Browse the current Path of Legends ranked snapshot
- Filter by elixir, four-card cycle, Evolutions, cards, archetype, and win condition
- Save favorites in this browser — nothing is uploaded
- Copy with a validated
link.clashroyale.comURL, or scan the QR code on desktop - Read the methodology that produced the numbers
None of those steps ask for a player tag. The official API has no global name search, and we do not pretend otherwise. Does DeckBeacon search players?
What "free" does not buy you
Free is not "every deck in Clash Royale." The catalog is a bounded sample of Path of Legends battles — 200 ranked lists from a published crawl — not a census and not a seven-day history. What a ranked snapshot is.
Free is also not "Evolutions already on." The official copy format cannot carry Evolution or Hero form. The cards to set by hand are listed in the open. Copy-deck guide.
Ads and "free"
The website currently has no ads. That is a committed claim, not a slogan: the privacy page and this FAQ have to change together if that ever stops being true. If ads ever appear they are a deck-list concern only — never on the copy button, never as a gate. Does DeckBeacon have ads?
A competitor charging $2.99–$24.99 IAP is a different reading of the same policy. DeckBeacon's reading is: no fee. Comparisons: DeckBeacon vs Stats Royale.
