Clash Royale copy deck not working
Fix a Clash Royale copy-deck link that does nothing: app missing, desktop browser, wrong tower, or Evolutions that never travel on the official URL.
If Copy Deck "does nothing," it is almost always one of a short list. DeckBeacon's button is an official link.clashroyale.com URL, validated before the page renders. It cannot write into the game from a desktop tab, and it cannot turn Evolutions on. Work through the steps in order.
Happy-path import: how to copy. Desktop: QR guide.
Steps
- Are you on a computer? The link will not import inside a desktop browser. Scan the QR on the deck page with your phone.
- Is Clash Royale installed on the device that opened the link? Install it, then tap again. A browser preview of the URL is not an import.
- Did you tap a different deck than you think? Open the deck page, confirm the eight cards, then copy from there — not from a stale screenshot.
- Is the Tower Troop unlocked? The official link does carry the tower. If you do not own that troop, the game falls back. Unlock it or pick another list.
- Are Evolutions "missing"? Expected. The format does not carry them. Set them by hand.
- Still wrong eight cards after import? You edited the list in-game, or you copied twice from two pages. The DeckBeacon page you copied from is the source of truth.
What this is not
This is not a player-tag problem. Copy-deck does not log you into Clash Royale as someone else and does not need DeckBeacon to "find you." Does DeckBeacon search players?
This is not a captcha you skipped. There is no captcha on this path. Copy without a captcha.
When to email
If the URL on the page looks truncated, or the game errors on a link you did not retype, send the deck page URL (not a restyped copy link) to support. A single character off is enough to fail the grammar.
