Two products that both say "decks"
The word "decks" hides the split.
DeckBeacon publishes a ranked list from a documented sample and lets you filter it the way you pick a deck on ladder: elixir, four-card cycle, Evolution count, cards to include or exclude, archetype. Favorites stay in the browser. Copy is one official link. That is the whole product.
Stats Royale is a stats suite that includes decks. Player profiles, clan stats, a builder, and store monetization are load-bearing, not extras. The app's reviews cluster around crashes and around ads gating lookup and the builder — which is why people search for a Stats Royale alternative even when they still use the brand for something else.
DeckBeacon will not grow a player-lookup surface to "catch up." The official Clash Royale API has no global player search by name, and guessing from a clan name is how you hand someone the wrong account. We decline that job rather than fake it.
The esports overlay is real — and a different job
Stats Royale's strongest distribution is not the App Store ranking. It is official Clash Royale League adjacency: a named CRL event (Stats Royale Gold Edition in 2025) and broadcast graphics that show played decks with QR codes to copy them.
That is a genuine moat for watch-then-copy. It does not decide which tool you want on a Tuesday night when you are looking at the ranked ladder, not a finals broadcast.

Copy-deck, Evolutions, and what neither app can cheat
Both products, used honestly, go through Supercell's official copy-deck URL. That URL carries eight cards and a Tower Troop. It does not carry Evolution or Hero form — confirmed independently of either product. After you copy, you still set those by hand.
DeckBeacon discloses the cards to set on every affected deck and every affected row, in the open, because hiding that behind a tap would put a gate on copy. Stats Royale's broadcast QR is the same official handoff in a different costume: the form still does not travel.

Rating, win rate, and not mixing the two brands
DeckBeacon's Rating is a 0–100 Wilson lower bound on decisive games in the sample. It is not a percentage, and it is not RoyaleAPI's Rating either. Unrated decks show "—" once they fall under 50 decisive games.
Do not paste a Stats Royale number next to a DeckBeacon Rating and call them the same scale. Different products, different windows, different jobs.
