How to copy a Clash Royale deck from CRL

How to copy a deck you saw on Clash Royale League: use the broadcast QR, then set Evolutions by hand. DeckBeacon is not a live overlay.

If you paused a CRL 2026 stream because you liked eight cards, that list is a played deck on broadcast, not a row in DeckBeacon's snapshot. Official Clash Royale League productions have historically shown a QR (Stats Royale overlay adjacency) so you can import through the same link.clashroyale.com handoff everyone else uses. DeckBeacon does not sit on that overlay.

What CRL is. Shanghai Worlds. Manual Duels means the next game may be a completely different list — copy the one on screen, not "the one from game one."

Steps

  1. Watch on an official Clash Royale League stream, not a re-upload that cropped the overlay.
  2. When the played deck is on screen, scan the QR with the phone that has Clash Royale. Desktop browser will not import. Desktop copy.
  3. Accept the import. Confirm the eight cards and the Tower Troop.
  4. Set Evolutions and Hero form yourself. The official link never carries them — not on CRL, not on DeckBeacon. After copying.
  5. If you missed the QR, you do not have a DeckBeacon URL for "what Light just played." We do not store broadcast boards. Replay the VOD, or browse a family on /decks.

If there is no QR

Some community streams do not carry the overlay. Then you are reconstructing by eye — slow, and easy to misread an Evolution. Prefer the official CRL channel. How to watch.

If the QR opens a web page instead of the game, Clash Royale is not installed on that phone. Same troubleshooting as any official copy link. Copy not working.

Do not paste the eight names into DeckBeacon's filter and expect a row titled after the pro. Our catalog identities are card-derived (Hog Cycle, X-Bow Siege), not player-derived. A match on four of eight cards is still a different list. If you want a family from this snapshot after the VOD, start at the win-condition hub you actually saw — X-Bow, Hog, Goblin Drill — and read the Evolution disclosure on that row before you copy.
