What is Clash Royale League?
Clash Royale League (CRL) is Supercell's official esports circuit. How 2026 is structured, and how it differs from a ranked ladder snapshot.
Clash Royale League (CRL) is Supercell's official competitive circuit for Clash Royale. Since 2021 it has been an individual circuit rather than a team league. A season is a stack of Ranked windows, Monthly Qualifiers, Monthly Finals, a Last Chance Qualifier, and World Finals — not a website's "top decks" chart.
DeckBeacon is not CRL. We sample Path of Legends battles from the official API and publish a ranked snapshot. CRL is a tournament with Golden Tickets, casters, and (in 2026) Worlds in China / Shanghai.
What "playing CRL" means in 2026
You place high enough in a Ranked Season (~top 1,500) to be invited toward Monthly Qualifiers. Weekend events run at 14:00 UTC per the rulebook. Monthly Finals award points and Golden Tickets. The leftover Worlds seat is the Last Chance Qualifier (5–6 September 2026). How to qualify. CRL 2026. Schedule.
On the broadcast stage, matches are typically Manual Duels: a new deck every game, cards cannot repeat in the same match. That is why a single YouTube thumbnail is not "the CRL meta." Manual Duels.
